Ariete Vintage AR7704 1.7L Dome Cordless Kettle in Green
We think this is perfect for: A worktop where the kettle is on display and the shape matters as much as the finish. Especially suited to a narrow space, since the dome is 23cm wide and 20cm deep.
Why Webbs Recommends This: The dome shape sits lower than a straight-sided jug, which helps under a wall cupboard, and the body is metal rather than plastic. It holds 1.7 litres, enough for 7 cups at once, on a 2kW rapid boil element. The exterior is cool-touch, which matters when the body itself conducts heat. See the rest of our retro kettles.
1.7 Litres and 7 Cups on a 2kW Element
Capacity is 1.7 litres, which is 7 cups in one boil. The 2kW rapid boil element brings a full kettle up quickly rather than making you wait through a lower rating.
Dome Shape in a Metal Body
The dome profile stands 28cm tall and 23cm wide, so it fits under most wall units. The metal body gives it weight and a better finish than a moulded plastic kettle, and the exterior stays cool to touch.
Removable Limescale Filter and Boil Dry Protection
The limescale filter lifts out for rinsing, so scale does not end up in the cup. The 360° swivel base suits left or right handed use, so the kettle sits back the same way whichever hand you pour with. Auto switch off stops it at the boil, and boil dry protection cuts in if it is switched on empty. It weighs 1.35kg and carries a 2 year guarantee.
